After School Activity Program
Recreation through a range of extracurricular activities
The FIS After School Activity (ASA) Program highly contributes to a balanced school day and offers the students multiple ways to further develop their creativity, learn new skills and release their energy.
After School Activities are offered all year long to Early Years 5 to Grade 12 students by either FIS or qualified external teachers. Fall, winter and spring activities cover a wide spectrum of interests: Craft, Chess, Sports, Languages and more.
The program for the upcoming Fall 2026 ASA Season will be published below by EOD on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
Registration
Registration for the Fall 2026 season opens on Monday, September 7, 2026, at 17:00, ending on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 9:00.
Please sign up as soon as possible as this is on a first come, first serve basis!
Register online through the FIS Parent Portal.
Please note:
- Some activities might be cancelled if the number of participants is not sufficient.
- Students will be offered a one-week trial.
- There is no bus transportation offered at the end of the After School Activity Program, therefore parents are required to pick up students outside, in front of the school.
- During After School Activities, students should be covered by their parent’s health insurance.
Aside from After School activities, students can take private music lessons at the FIS after class (see our Instrumental Program), G3-G12 students can participate in the GISST Sports Program (see our Sports page) and a lot of activities can be organized locally in the Erlangen community. If you need any help in finding specific sports or activities, please email and we will be happy to assist you.
