After School Activity Program

Recreation through a range of extracurricular activities

The FIS After School Activity Program (ASAP) highly contributes to a balanced school day and offers the students multiple ways to further develop their creativity, learn new skills and release their energy.

After School Activities are offered all year long to Grade 1 to 12 students by either FIS or qualified external teachers. Fall, winter and spring activities cover a wide spectrum of interests: Craft, Drama, Choir, Band, Sport, Green Club and more.

The Fall program will start on September 23 and end on December 13. Online registration through the Parent Portal will be possible from Monday, September 9 at 17:00 until Monday, September 16 at 9:00.

Some activities are free and some are subject to a charge (an invoice will then be sent at the end of each season).

Aside from after school activities, students can take private music lessons at the FIS after class (see our Instrumental Program), Middle School and High School students can participate in the GISST Sports Program (see our Sports page) and a lot of activities can be organized locally in the Erlangen community. If you need any help in finding specific sports or activities, please email and we’ll be happy to assist you.
