Lower Elementary Teacher
- Full-time position, replacement for a one-year parental leave
- Starting August 1, 2018

Responsibilities:
- Teach and manage the educational program relevant to subject and grade level(s) based on the FIS curriculum
- Other responsibilities according to FIS Teacher Job Description
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant university degree
- Teaching qualification with valid teaching license, if applicable
- Minimum of two years teaching experience
- IPC experience preferred
- Experience in an international school an advantage
- Strong focus on student-centered learning
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team

Responsibilities:
- Assisting Learning Support teachers in whole class or small group activities
- Working one-to-one with children
- Assisting Learning Support teachers in the planning and organization of lessons
- Assisting Student Support Coordinator with administrative tasks

The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working with children with special needs an advantage
- Qualifications as a Learning Assistant an advantage

The FIS offers internships for local students in every school section. Please send your application to: jobs@the-fis.de
Your application should include a cover letter and updated CV in English stating your preferred start and duration of the internship as well as your preferred school section and/or subject.
Year of Voluntary Social Service (Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr) at the FIS
It is possible to complete a year of voluntary social service at the FIS. We offer this in collaboration with the Bavarian Red Cross (BRK). The next possible starting date is August/September 1, 2018.
