In order for students in Grades 7,8 and 9 to prepare for their readiness levels in Mathematics in the upcoming school year, the Math Department has provided review materials from which students are to work. Students will be given blank copies of the end of year diagnostic test, and are requested to attempt these tasks, paying attention to precise computation, clear communication and problem-solving.
To develop resilience, patience, research skills and transfer competencies, students are also invited to attempt the Fürth Math Olympiad tasks (FüMO) and the investigations attached below. These tasks apply specifically to students interested in working in the standard and extended readiness groupings.
