This week our Grade 9 classes are at their grade level trip, which is a winter sport trip to Speikboden, South Tyrol in Italy. We collected voices and opinions of some key participants.
Grade 1 IPC Unit “The Magic Toymaker” is an inquiry into how and why toys are made. The students created toys using recycled materials. The process began with outlining the design cycle, and working on developing and improving their designs.
In DP Visual Arts, students engage with theoretical practice, and art-making practice daily, while developing new techniques and creating artwork.
Last weekend, the FIS hosted a GISST tournament for the first time in years. Nine schools with a total of 18 teams competed for the Varsity Badminton trophies on nine courts in the new gym.
As a school, we promote a whole child and inclusive approach, fostering student participation and encouraging new challenges. It is not only about academics but more, much more.
This school year has proven that the FIS community is ready to reunite and strengthen by the overwhelming support shown from FIS families, teachers, and staff with the success of this year’s Christmas Market.
