World Challenge sleepover

Primary, Secondary

In July 2018, five Grade 10 and 11 students are travelling to Morocco for fourteen days on an expedition lead by British organization World Challenge. While in Morocco, the students will spend a week laboring to improve the facilities at a rural school and then complete a multi-day backpacking trek culminating at the summit of Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak.

To provide extra funds for facility improvements at the school, the students are hosting a sleepover at the FIS for Grade 5, 6 and 7 students on Friday, February 23. The sleepover will include fun activities, as well as pizza for dinner and a simple breakfast.

  • Drop-off at 18:00 on Friday, February 23
  • Pick-up at 10:00 on Saturday, February 24

The sleepover will be supervised by Ms. Humphrey, Mr. Landmann and me. The cost is 20 Euro. Permission slips will be distributed in your child’s homeroom attendance class next week and can be returned with the fee to the Front Office. You can also find an electronic version of the permission slip below.
