A group of 11 teachers traveled to Ouarzazate, Morocco over Spring Break. They collaborated with Baali, the founder and head of the Avon Academy, to work on different projects in two elementary schools. The funds that were raised at the FIS prior to this trip were put towards purchasing a fence to ensure safety on the playground at one school and creating a garden with fruits and vegetables at another school. The school community of teachers and students at each school worked together with the FIS throughout these projects and were extremely grateful for the support they were given.
