Proof of Immunity Against Measles

In-House

Due to changes in the German Infection Protection Act (IfSG §20), we require proof of immunity/vaccinations against measles from every student, including signed Measles Immunity Form and proof of vaccination records or doctor’s attestation.

Please provide the front page of the vaccination card, including personal details of the student, and the measles/MMR vaccinations page (scanned by email at  or in hard-copy).

If there is a medical contraindication (a medical reason for not receiving vaccinations), or you have lost the vaccination card/records, a doctor’s attestation is necessary.

They will either do a blood test to determine sufficient immunity or give him/her another shot of the vaccine.

This needs to be provided in German or English. Documents in any other language need to be translated (certified translation).

Therefore, we require you to fill in the linked form and provide the needed documents as outlined, in a timely manner.

If the proof of vaccination is not provided by the end of the current school year, the student will not be able to commence school the following school year.

Please note that the school is obliged to report any student without immunity/proof of vaccination or any family not willing to provide this information to the local health authority for further action.

Thank you for your understanding.
