Music Students Attend Nürnberger Symphoniker Concert

Secondary

On Saturday, October 16, Grade 8-12 FIS Music students, as well as a few guests, attended a concert at the Meistersingerhalle and listened to the Nürnberger Symphoniker perform various classical pieces such as Symphony No. 40 in G Minor and the Queen of the Night Aria from Die Zauberflöte by Mozart, and even a collection of original pieces.

This particular performance was unlike most others for the Nürnberger Symphoniker as it included a piccolo (a small flute) concerto.

Attending this concert was very beneficial for the students as they observed the dynamics of performers within an orchestra and what to pay attention to when listening to classical pieces. Overall, this was a great experience!
