Weihnachtsmarkt on December 10

PTO

“Weihnachtsmärkte” have a long tradition in Germany, and (almost) everyone looks forward to this time of the year when the stalls shine in bright lights, mulled wine and gingerbread spread scents that we know from childhood, artistic handicrafts and wintry decorations invite you to dream – even when the outside temperature is well below zero degrees, and maybe the sun is shining.

FIS also wants to celebrate this season and is hosting its “Weihnachtsmarkt” on December 10 from 14:00 until 17:00 in the FIS Aula. PTO, CAS groups, and staff are already working behind the scenes to make it a cozy get-together, with activity tables for the kids, booths with gifts for friends and family, and lots of treats like waffles, cookies, and more, all baked with love.

Since laughter makes one happy, we will set up a photo booth where fun photos can be taken. Blanca from Blanca Melendez Photography will shoot family photos of everyone who registers here. A fantastic opportunity to surprise loved ones with a self-made photo card!

The first stall registrations have arrived, but we still have many spots to fill. If you have a hobby and want to present your work and sell it, please register on this link.

We always need volunteers who want the community to have a great time together. You can sign up on the list as well. Why not help at the Advent Café or do crafts with the kids? Take your pick of what you enjoy doing. All the busy bees in the background appreciate your support!

And if you know someone who is not part of the FIS community but would like to join us with a booth, please feel free to invite them and ask them to contact . We are looking forward to seeing you all there!
