“human, too human” Exhibition by FIS Alumni

The exhibition “human, too human” brings together the individual and collaborative works of NYUA (Gianluca Krawinkel) and NBH (Noah-Baptiste Hammer). It marks the first time the two artists are presenting their art side by side.

The opening takes place on Saturday, March 7 at 18:00 at the Ostermayr Gallery in Nürnberg. The exhibition will continue in the following weeks during regular gallery opening hours. Both artists connected through the FIS, where their friendship grew into a creative partnership. Today, painting is at the center of their work – intuitive and expressive, shaped by a shared dialogue on canvas.

With a background in film, NYUA creates surreal, figurative worlds filled with symbolism and subtle storytelling. His vibrant works explore human emotion, social observation, and most recently, themes of childhood and rediscovering sensitivity. NBH focuses on interpersonal dynamics and the relationship between people and their environments. His expressive paintings distill emotions to their essence and reflect his personal experiences with neurodivergence, including heightened and reduced sensory perception.

Together, their distinct artistic voices meet in layered, evolving works that balance collaboration with individuality.
