As we close another exceptional school year, the Board of Directors would like to thank every member of our school community – our students, families, faculty, staff, and leadership team – for your dedication, partnership, and commitment to making our school such a vibrant place to learn and grow.
This year has been one of celebration, achievement, and reflection. Throughout it all, we have continued to see our core values of Caring, Curiosity, Respect, Integrity, and Belonging demonstrated every day – in our classrooms and across our community. These values define who we are and have been central to an important piece of work looking toward our future.
Over the past several months, the Board has worked closely with the Extended Leadership Team and Abi DeLessio, consultant from Triangle Associates, while also seeking input from our broader school community to develop a renewed Mission and Vision that reflect who we are today and where we aspire to go together. We are grateful to everyone who shared their perspectives throughout this process. The thoughtful feedback from our community, combined with the expertise of our Extended Leadership Team, helped shape guiding statements that build upon our shared values while setting an ambitious direction for the future.
We are delighted to introduce our new Mission:
To inspire our community of lifelong learners to grow through an engaging and challenging curriculum, to thrive together in a welcoming and supportive environment – to boldly and joyfully meet the future.
And we are equally excited to introduce our new Vision:
Reimagining what’s possible in education.
Together with our core values, these statements will serve as the foundation for our strategic direction in the years ahead. While we are excited to share them with you today, this is just the beginning. At the start of the new school year, we look forward to introducing them more fully and exploring together what they mean for our students, our community, and the future of our school.
