To wrap up their learning about astronomy, Grade 7 students visited the Planetarium in Nürnberg on Wednesday. For many students, this was their first trip to a planetarium and they didn’t know what to expect. Student feedback was very positive as they enjoyed learning about the timeline of our universe from the Big Bang to the creation of the first Suns, the Milky Way, our solar system and finally the evolution of animals on Earth. Students enjoyed that the video reinforced their understanding from what they had learned in the classroom, but also gave them lots more information to think about.
