We would like to take this opportunity to let you know that the FIS community will be holding its first ever “Gender in the 21st century” conference next week! Students and teachers from Grade 7 and up have volunteered to facilitate sessions around gender topics of personal interest in order to open dialogue around the role gender plays in and out of school. The conference will take place during periods 1 to 4 on Tuesday, January 16 to give all of us the opportunity to join the conversation. Grade 8 to 11 students and teachers already had the chance to register for the sessions they wish to attend back in December. We look forward to seeing everyone in next week!
