G6 Adventure in Regen: Skills, Growth, and Lifelong Memories

Secondary

Last week, our Grade 6 students embarked on an unforgettable adventure to Regen, a trip designed to foster communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. With cabins of twelve students, mixed classes, and reshuffled activity groups, this experience was all about stepping outside comfort zones and forging new connections.

Highlights of the trip included canoeing, archery tag, and a much-anticipated disco night. One student shared, “I didn’t know I could do canoeing, but I found out I was really good at it!” Another highlight was the unexpected accomplishment of living five days without technology, with one student proudly stating, “I survived without tech, and I didn’t even think about my phone.”

Beyond the fun, the trip was an opportunity for self-awareness and reflection, helping students build confidence and make lifelong memories.
