GISST Cross Country Medalists

Last week, the FIS Cross Country team traveled to Leipzig International School to compete. Overall, it was a very successful event with lots of great spirit. Although the training season was very short this year, our runners performed really well, bringing two individual medals and one new course record home.

Olivier van der Wart won the Varsity Boys 4.8 km race and the gold medal with the new GISST course record time of 17:47. Congratulations Olivier!

Nele Zeitler had a fantastic race too, finishing second in the U14 Girls category. Well done Nele!

A big THANK YOU to the coaches Mrs. Carole Williamson, Mr. Jamie Williamson and Mr. Matthew Williamson. Way to go FIS Dragons!
