Fasching Picture Gallery

In-House

Fasching energy was at its peak in the FIS today!

The corridors were bustling with dramatic costumes, as the scent of freshly baked Krapfen flooded out and filled the air.

Fasching is the traditional German carnival season. It is a week-long celebration that takes place before Lent, and involves parades, street demonstrations, and elaborate costumes and masks.

Thank you to the PTO for distributing Krapfen (traditional German donuts) today to celebrate Fasching at the FIS. Parent volunteers were at Krapfen stations during the morning breaks to pass out the sweet treats.

We wish you all a relaxing and healthy holiday break and we will see you back at school in March.
