Amazing Athletic News from Berlin
Last week, the FIS Cross Country team (nine Elementary School, eleven Middle School and two High School students) traveled to the Berlin British School to compete at the GISST and Interschool competition. Although they have practiced for just a few weeks and mostly had no previous experience at this level they performed really well, bringing some individual medals home.
- Nele won the girls G3 race and a gold medal with the second best time ever.
- Aisha won the girls G5 race and a gold medal setting the new GISST Interschool record in this category.
- Solytha finished third in the U14 Girls race, winning the bronze.
Way to go FIS Dragons! And a big thank you to their coaches Mrs. Lohwasser, Mr. Phillipson, Ms. Stöth, Mr. Dubbe and Mrs. Williamson.
