It was a pleasure to see all the happy children with their lanterns singing at the retirement home and we were very fortunate to have a real horse with St. Martin leading the procession. This year we did a coat drive to support the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (Workers’ Samaritan Federation) and EFIE (Voluntary Refugee Care Erlangen).
Sharing and Caring – that is what St. Martin is all about!
A big thank you to:
- all parents, staff and students for their support during the St. Martin’s Day celebration last week
- the Music and German departments for teaching the children the story of St. Martin and practicing songs with them
- Ms. Pontones, Ms. Rudolf and Ms. Lee for leading the shadow play and songs
- Ms. Andrews for taking the time to make creative lanterns with all the Early Years children in Art lessons
