Grade 10 Drama “Broken”

When: Monday, November 27, 18:30
Where: FIS Theater

The Grade 10 Drama class will be performing their first piece of practical IGCSE coursework. This show, titled Broken, is made up of five original plays, devised by the students. Among the topics to be explored on stage will be broken homes and mental illness. The students have centered most of their work around the tension of relationships, and have based them on stimuli from their September Arts trip to London.

Doors will open at 18:00, with the show starting at 18:30, in the FIS Theater. Please enter from the parking lot gate near the rear of the school.

The show is free to attend, but tickets should be reserved online in advance, with the following ticket order form

IB and IGCSE Music soiree

When: Friday, December 8, 17:00
Where: FIS Theater

You are most welcome to come and join our young FIS musicians presenting their solo and ensemble IGCSE and IB coursework.

The performances will begin at 17:00 and should end at approximately 18:30.

No need to book your seats and entry to the soiree is free. 

Grade 9 pantomimes

When: Thursday, December 14, (during school – times yet to be advised)
Where: FIS Theater

The Grade 9 Drama class will be presenting a series of pantomimes, and they have invited Grade 2 Music students to be a part of the production.

Pantomimes are part of a British theater culture and are “…theatrical entertainment, mainly for children, which involves music, topical jokes, and slapstick comedy and is based on a fairy tale or nursery story, usually produced around Christmas.”
