Do you have someone you want to say Happy Valentine’s Day to? Or maybe you would like to tell a teacher or FIS staff member you appreciate their hard work? If so, what better way than to send them a personalized message and treat on Valentine’s Day! Your Valentine’s gram will include a bag of assorted candy with your personal message.
The candy grams will be on sale from Monday, January 22. We ask a small donation of at least € 2 for each Valentine’s gram. Please fill out the candy gram form below and return it to the homeroom or advisory teachers by Friday, February 2. All candy grams will be delivered on Friday, February 9.
Your donation will support our World Challenge trip to Morocco where we will work on a special project in a Moroccan village for five days. During the Easter holiday, 11 teachers and staff will travel to Morocco to help in communities by refurbishing buildings and improving schools and classrooms. Three years ago this fundraiser raised over € 1000 due to your extremely generous donations. Here is a video of our project in 2015.
The World Challenge trip to Morocco will give us the opportunity to work in an unfamiliar environment. It will also provide an opportunity for us to develop international-mindedness through a service learning experience where we will have a positive impact on the Moroccan community and on our own.
