Over the past few months, we had the idea to find ways to help an animal shelter.
On the weekends, we and some neighborhood friends would bake muffins and then walk around to the different houses to sell them. We explained what their donations would be used for and many people were happy to help out!
When we collected all the money, it totaled to more than 150 EUR!
On Sunday, May 19, we visited an animal shelter so that we could bring the money we raised by selling food in our neighborhood.
The volunteers at the animal shelter were overwhelmed by our donation and very thankful.
We felt very happy to be able to help and support the community.
