Please be aware that we have a few cases of chicken pox in Elementary School. Signs and symptoms can be fever, headache, nausea, sore throat and the typical rash. Usually, a person who had chicken pox develops lifelong immunity and there is a vaccination available. The disease is more severe in adults than in children. Pregnant women without immunity should avoid any contact with chicken pox sufferers, as it is a risk for the unborn child.
Please do not hesitate to contact us at if you have any questions!
