Early Years Outdoor Activity

Primary

The Early Years have had lots of fun activities in Outdoor Learning over the past few weeks. The children have been reading The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson and partaking in different learning activities outside. Each class learned the Gruffalo song, made puppets, clay Gruffalo body parts and learned how to set and follow a trail.

This week they have started to look at the Gruffalo’s favorite food. Cooking “Roasted Fox” also known as Stockbrot (stick bread) over the fire pit was a tasty start to their week. Early Years will continue by cooking and eating the Gruffalo’s other favorite food over the next few weeks.
