Grade 4’s Analysis with Math Data

Primary

In math, we learned about graphs, continuous data and discrete data this week.

We selected a sample for the study. First, we collected people’s favorite colors and periods. Then we started collecting people’s shoe sizes and hand spans.

After this, we collected data that could help the FIS. For example, many students asked for people`s favorite genres in books. Now, we will give these findings to Mrs. Piehler, the Elementary School Librarian, so she gets more or fewer books of that genre, depending on how many people chose that genre.

That is an example of how we can help the FIS. It was a lot of fun collecting data and analyzing it.
