GISST U14 Volleyball Tournaments
From May 16 to 18, we will be hosting the GISST U14 Boys Volleyball tournament here at the FIS. A big thank you to all families who have confirmed their availability to host. We are currently finalizing the housing arrangements and the host families will soon be provided with more detailed information with regard to housing arrangements.
This year, the FIS will enter two boys teams. The tournament schedule can be found below.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Over this two-day tournament, we will have around 100 players, coaches, helpers and officials partaking in the event. Whenever the FIS hosts sport events, we provide refreshments for the participants and spectators. Also, this time we kindly ask the whole school community for help with food donations and/or manning the stand. Whilst the boys are playing in Erlangen, our Girls team will be heading to Dresden International School (DIS) for their competition. We wish our young ladies good luck in Dresden!
Summer Sports Camp 2019
Back by popular demand, this year’s Summer Sports Camp will take place from Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12, each day from 9:00 to 12:00.
Students who are currently in Early Years 4 to Grade 7 may attend. Students will do three different sporting activities each day and the purpose is to have fun and be active. Registration for the summer camp will open on Schoolbase on Monday, May 6. There will be 60 places available, but in the past it has filled up fairly quickly so please register soon to avoid any disappointment. The cost is 80 Euros per student and week.
