Grade 5 students recently concluded their “Who We Are in Place and Time” Unit of Inquiry with an inspiring “wax museum” presentation. As part of the unit, students explored the lives of influential figures who have made a lasting impact on the world.
After weeks of research and writing their own biographies, they stepped into character – presenting their chosen changemakers to an audience of parents, teachers, and staff. The event showcased not only their understanding of historical impact but also their communication, research, and presentation skills.
The “wax museum” was a memorable celebration of learning that brought together knowledge, creativity, and confidence – a wonderful example of how inquiry-driven learning can inspire students to connect with the world around them.
