We will host 3 visiting schools on this day from Weiden, Bamberg and probably Würzburg. Arrival for visiting schools will be 10:45 and the first match should start at 11:15. The tournament should be finished at about 17:00.
This event is open to all, but Grade 10, 11 and 12 parents are especially invited. Come and have a look at Grade 12’s Extended Essays (4000 word research projects for the IB), and hear about their learning.
The IB Info Evening (for grade 10 parents and students) will follow at 19:00.
We want to invite you to drop into our Middle School coffee morning on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 8:00 to 9:00 in room 3.007. The purpose of the morning will be to begin discussions about the morning book club we would like to host with teachers and staff starting in January. We invite you to take a look at the book we have chosen, “The Geography of Thought” by Richard Nisbett. During our meeting we will reflect on the introduction chapter of “The Geography of Thought” and look at the implications this text provides for our learning community. How is thinking related to culture? What are the different systems of perceptions and thoughts? We are both very excited to join in this conversation and dialogue.
