100 Days of School

Primary

Yesterday, Grade 1 celebrated their 100 days of being in school. The day was marked by fun activities around the theme, like counting out 100 pieces of cereal and making a necklace, writing 100 words, and counting, grouping and sorting 100 objects. They also took 100 steps around the school and discovered different areas on the premises in their voyage. They estimated what 100 popcorn kernels would be and then counted and compared the actual amounts to their estimates. They built with 100 cups, 100 pieces of Lego, etc.

In all, it was a celebration of being 100 days smarter! The children and teachers dressed up as if they were 100 years old. Below are some pictures from the day.
