Last Saturday the Welcome Back BBQ brought the FIS community together, giving the new school year a good start. Numerous helpers, including our Director Tom Egerton joined the fun to make the event enjoyable for all.
Mr Haug offered volleyball, Ms Morabito games in the EY Gym and Mr Ben Hartwright used the bubble soccer balls for games on the red top. All students enjoyed the sporty activities and had a lot of fun although it was a rainy Saturday. Thank you guys!
Thank you also to our Booster Club Committee, who informed parents about the GISST program and supported school by selling the sports kit. Ms. Hardwick, Ms. Lee and Ms. Raine accompanied the event with music. Thank you for your performance!
A very special mention goes to the Little Feminists, who supported this event and thus the school by selling delicious smoothies. At the BBQ, we inaugurated the new water fountain that was installed over the summer near to the playground! All parents could relax and enjoy a chat with a cold local beer or warm coffee, while their children enjoyed the PTO-sponsored inflatable castle and bubble soccer.
