Prom night is one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the secondary school calendar, and this year’s event did not disappoint. Students dressed in their best formal attire to attend the “Red Carpet Night” themed prom on March 24 at Kulturforum Logenhaus in Erlangen, Germany.
As students arrived, they were greeted by the Prom Committee and invited to take pictures at the photo booth. The venue was transformed into a stunning display of lights and decorations, making it the perfect backdrop for a night of dancing and fun. The excitement was palpable as the guests were welcomed with open arms and handed their welcome drinks.
The night kicked off with a speech by Grade 11 student Isobel, prom organization committee member, who wished the students a memorable and safe evening. With the music blasting, the dance floor was soon filled with beautifully dressed students showing off their best moves.
As the night went on, the finger food buffet was opened, allowing the students to refuel and continue the party. The DJ, Kenan, also Grade 11, kept the dance floor packed with fantastic music choices.
One highlight of the night was the announcement of the royals of the court. The anticipation was high as Isobel announced the names of the lucky winners. The crowd erupted in cheers and applause as the royals of the prom were crowned.
Prom night is always a special event, but this year’s “Red Carpet Night” themed prom was one that will be talked about for years to come. The Prom Committee outdid themselves with the decorations, organization, and entertainment, making it a night that no one will soon forget.
