Participants for linguistic eye-tracking study needed

Community

Dear FIS community,

I am an English linguist and currently carrying out an eye-tracking study for which I am looking for participants.

The completely anonymous study takes less than one hour, during which participants will read short texts on a computer screen while their eye movements are recorded (not the face). The study also involves answering a few questions on the computer and on paper and filling in an anonymous questionnaire.

If you are interested in contributing to the advancement of linguistic knowledge, this is your opportunity to do so and earn 10 euros at the same time. So if you are an adult native speaker of the English language and have accurate vision or wear contact lenses, please enter your name (only visible to Mageshwar Selvakumar, who carries out the study) in the following Doodle or write an e-mail to .

The study takes place in room 1.053 in Schwabachanlage 10, at the foot of the Burgberg. When arranging the date, we will send you an information sheet with precise directions and a mobile number that you can call if you should have trouble finding the room.

If you would like to know anything else about the study, please contact me at and I will happily answer your questions.

Hoping to hear from you soon, all the best,

Prof. Dr. Christina Sanchez-Stockhammer
