Last week, Grade 3 welcomed Alexander von Humbolt to the class. The IPC topic they are investigating at the moment is “Explorers and Adventurers”. Their focus is on gathering information from simple sources and they were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to listen to an expert speak about his exploration and life. The students were mesmerized and intrigued listening to his experiences as a renowned geographer, naturalist and scientist. They were completely hooked, listened attentively and asked thoughtful questions.
