On Tuesday, 14 March, our Grade 12 Chemists visited the Siemens Med Museum in Erlangen. This museum tells stories about the history of pioneering figures and innovations in medical technology over the last 160 years. It was of particular interest to our students as the topics recently studied in Chemistry covered the use in medicine of X-rays, MRI, radiotherapy and more. The interactive part of the museum where students were able to look at X-rays and MRI scans was very engaging and they thoroughly enjoyed it.
