Sports

Another great success for the FIS! Our Varsity Volleyball Girls are the GISST Vice-Champions! After a great pool round and the semi-finals, without losing one single set, the girls have put much effort in and worked amazingly well as a team to finish in 2nd place at the GISST Tournament in Dresden. Well done girls! A big thank you goes to girls´ coach Mr. Haug for the hard work he has done in developing and supporting the girls volleyball program at the FIS for years now.

Recently, our basketball and volleyball teams have also been very successfully at the regional level, participating in the “Schüler trainiert für Olympia” competitions. Both U14 Basketball teams, Boys and Girls, have finished 2nd, our U14 Volleyball Girls have also won the second place in Uffenheim, and the Junior Varsity Volleyball Girls. Congratulations to all!
