Fashion Exploratory: Infinity Scarf Project

Secondary

In the Fashion Exploratory class, the students have sewn their first garment, an infinity scarf with fabric donated by adidas. They used blue or pink jersey knit cotton fabric to construct the scarf. Using old things found around their home, they handstitched embellishments onto the scarf to make it unique, as they all looked the same at first.

After sewing the scarf, they collaborated with the Photography Exploratory class to have pictures taken of their scarf; to use later in an advertisement. After the photo shoot, the Fashion Exploratory students used Photoshop to create the advertisement to market their brand and product. We would like to thank adidas for the fabric donated, without the fabric; this would not have been possible.
