GISST Champions

What kind of weather conditions would you be willing to compete in to win a medal? The Cross-Country team endured gusts of wind, rain and cold weather at the GISST Cross-Country Tournament at BIS on November 25. Melina Steiner for U14 girls team won 1st place. Scott Simons for U14 boys also won 1st place and the U14 boys team won a victorious 1st place overall in the tournament. A big thank you to all the runners involved in representing the FIS Cross-Country team at GISST and for all the parents that came out to cheer them on!

  • U14 girls: Melina Steiner, Anna Lessard, Sara Lessard, Sophie Beste
  • U14 boys: Scott Simons, Valter Nyren, Adam Lessard, Anton Albrecht, Max Albrecht, Leo Frenzel, Daniel Setera, Max Plate Nadal.
  • Varsity girls: Ipek Sahin, Mitaali Gupta, Ban Ruo Cheng

Congratulations to all and a huge “thank you” to the coaches!

GISST U14 and Varsity Badminton

Next week the Badminton teams are in action. From Thursday, December 7 until Saturday, December 9, the U14 girls and boys will be in Berlin, whereas the Varsity girls and boys will be competing in Stuttgart. They have been training every week since September and I’m sure they will have a wonderful weekend at BBS and ISHR.

Good luck everyone!
