The MYP and Primary Libraries have been bustling with excited readers over the past couple of weeks. Why? Because Battle of the Books (BoB) 2022 for Grades 4 and 5 is underway!
Over the next couple of months, small groups will work cooperatively to complete a differentiated selection of tasks connected to their reading. Students have already been busy reading a diverse selection of 12 books, tracking their progress, and organizing into teams.
The purpose of BoB 2022 at the FIS is to challenge and motivate students to read something new, reflect on and respond to literature in a variety of ways, and increase reading ability and confidence through teamwork. Please contact (Grade 4) or (Grade 5) with any questions about this program.
