Visit from Niall de Burca

Library

The FIS Library Team are thrilled to announce that renowned Irish storyteller, Niall de Burca, will be returning to the FIS for three days in March. He first visited the FIS ten years ago and then again in 2012; many students and teachers remember him as he left an indelible impression on the school! To quote the Vienna Review of Books: “His ability to evoke a wide range of emotions from his rapt audiences enables him to bewitch people with his stories and make listening to him, as well as watching him, an unforgettable experience”.

In addition to working with some classes, he will also be performing for larger groups during the three days of his visit. On Thursday, March 21, we are holding a special evening presentation from 18:00 to 19:00 in the Aula so that FIS families and the local community get the chance to see this wonderful storyteller in action! A big thank you to the PTO for helping sponsor Niall’s visit to the FIS.

We hope you can join us!
