Varsity Basketball Results
Last weekend, our Varsity Basketball teams took part in the final GISST competitions for this school year. After a very hard and challenging first day, the Girls showed an amazing attitude and had a great run on the second day, winning both of their games to finish 7th overall in Munich.
In Duisburg, the Varsity Boys team faced several strong and experienced teams, resulting in two losses at the start of the tournament. But the team was not disheartened and came back strong with two clear wins on the first day. Although they didn’t win in the playoffs, they were excited about placing 6th out of 10. In the end, it was the many missed shots that was our weak spot. All in all, FIS team’s performance was marked by great team spirit and a strong commitment to work hard, especially on defense.
Well done everyone! Thank you to the coaches and all supporters!
