This week, Grade 9 students started their Personal Project adventure.
For the next eight months, students will be designing and implementing their own independent inquiry projects that will allow them to demonstrate the skills and attitudes of an MYP learner. This is a major culminating assessment for the MYP, and an important rite of passage for Grade 10.
On Tuesday, students spent time identifying their interests and making connections to local and global issues. On Friday, students will be presenting their goals to their peers and teachers. We’re looking forward to the adventure, and excited to see what our first MYP students create!
You can help to support our students by sharing your expertise in anything. Could you provide advice or an information interview about a particular topic? Maybe you have a special skill that you would be willing to share to help someone? Or perhaps you have contacts with an organization or company in Erlangen and you would be willing to make an introduction? It doesn’t matter if your skill is coding, playing the piano, or knowledge about dinosaur fossils, we want to hear from you! Please fill in this form.
