The FIS is looking for a

Head of Department Mathematics (Secondary)

Starting: August 1, 2024
Employment Type: Full-time
Contract Type: 2 years

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Mathematics Department for the Secondary section
  • Teach and manage the educational program relevant to subject and grade level(s) based on the FIS curriculum
  • Responsibilities according to FIS Teacher/HoD Job Description

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Teaching qualification with valid teaching license, if applicable 
  • Relevant University degree
  • Energetic and enthusiastic, looking to develop IB MYP and DP Math experience
  • Ability to lead a dynamic and diverse team
  • Strong focus on student-centered learning
  • IB MYP and DP curriculum experience
  • Experience as HoD / in Curriculum Leadership preferred
  • Experience in an international school an advantage
  • Minimum of five years teaching experience preferred
