Just in time before the start of the community days, all staff were issued with the new FIS Hoodie this week. Felicia Sauerbrey-Ruf, FIS receptionist, was amongst the first ones to receive hers and commented: ”I have been so looking forward to receiving this hoodie. It’s such nice quality and I love the fact that we all have a school-branded hoodie now.”
Students and parents started to receive their orders from Wednesday. Hundreds of orders were neatly lined up in the Multi-Purpose room ready to be handed over to their proud new owners. “The children were so excited to be picking up their new hoodie or T-Shirt, it’s so uplifting to see the enthusiasm and joy it brings to the kids,” said Sandra Babbs, co-founder of Kool4School, the business behind this initiative. “Already on Thursday we spotted quite a few FIS T-Shirts and hoodies worn around the school.”
It comes after a period of planning with the school community, that the idea of branded clothes was made a reality and was introduced to the FIS a few weeks ago. “The response was simply mind-blowing. We had so many families commenting that this was exactly what they had been waiting for”, Mike Jones explains. He is the other co-founder of Kool4School with a wealth of retail experience. “We have learned so much in this process and had so many positive interactions and now we are already planning exciting new ideas for the new school year. Watch this space”.
