Grade 8 to 12 Outdoor Program: Magnesia Kletterhalle Forchheim

Secondary

The Outdoor Program’s next excursion will take any interested grade 8 to 12 students to a “learn to climb” workshop at the indoor climbing hall Magnesia in Forcheim on the morning of Sunday, December 10, 2017. A professional instructor will teach students the correct safety procedures for rope climbing and support them in the development of body positioning skills for scaling a wall. After the introductory workshop, students will have free time to practice their newly acquired skills.

The cost for the excursion, including entrance fee, shoe rental, instructor fees and other climbing gear is 12 Euro. Please contact Ms. Schorb at natasha.schorb@the-fis.de or Ms. Jasper at rebecca.jasper@the-fis.de for more information. We hope to see you there!
