Grade 4 German Story-Listening

Primary

All school year, the students in Grade 4 Beginner German class have been listening to stories to learn the language. Everything from folk tales, myths, fables and even a whole book has been used to help the students acquire language in context.

The stories reflect the diverse community at the FIS as they are also from many different countries, such as Germany, India, Japan, China, Norway, Canada, Brazil.

A few weeks ago, the students spoke about their learning experience with stories, at the Elementary School assembly.

Get a look into the classroom in this video and hear the students talk about how stories help them learn German.
