GISST Champions!

Sports

What a great success for our Varsity Volleyball teams!

Two very busy and intensive days of competition in Duisburg. Seven matches – seven wins. Not one single set given away. Yes, they did it again! The FIS Varsity Girls Volleyball successfully defended their title and won the GISST Championship for the fourth time in a row. Absolutely amazing!

On the other side of Germany, 600km away from the girls, our Varsity Volleyball Boys proudly represented the FIS, showed an outstanding performance and finished their tournament becoming GISST vice champions. The team summarized their weekend with the following words:

strong, proud, frustrated
nerve-wracking, amazing, driven anxious, fun, win, inspiring, passionate
team, adventure, new, fun
challenging, redemption, nail-biting powerful, wistful, extraordinary
oneness, grateful

Excellent tournaments overall! Congratulations to ALL and a big thank you to the coaches!
