What happens when you take G6 out of the classroom and add a week of outdoor challenges, new experiences and a good dose of adventure?
In Regen, students found out. They tried unfamiliar activities, worked with classmates in new combinations and faced moments when the first attempt did not quite go to plan. Figuring things out together was all part of the experience – as was discovering new strengths, building confidence and having plenty of fun along the way.
This is IB learning in action: being willing to take risks, communicate, collaborate, reflect and learn through experience. Away from familiar routines, students had the chance to become a little more independent and get to know each other in a completely different setting.
And somewhere between the challenges, laughter and adventures, G6 came home with a few more skills, stronger connections and plenty of stories to tell.
