G12 Trip to Berlin

Our G12 students recently ventured to the German capital, Berlin. The trip served as their final excursion together as a graduating class. From the intricate escape tunnels to the Olympiastadion, the Ku’damm 56 musical, and the Bundestag, each destination offered a window into Germany’s rich and complex history.

More than mere sightseeing, the excursion provided students with many opportunities to immerse themselves in a different culture, language, and historical context.

Berlin’s expansive public transport system can be tricky to figure out sometimes. Despite its challenges, it was the starting point for students to explore the city and try out its food, including some non-alcoholic cocktails.

Hear all about the trip in our latest FIScast episode, available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Buzzsprout!
