From Local Playgrounds to Forest Cycling : Discover the Diverse Picnic Adventures of FIS Community Days

With the highly anticipated FIS Community Days just around the corner, we are excited to share some details about the upcoming picnic adventures. As the third element of these special days, the picnics promise to be an enjoyable and memorable experience for all participants.

The picnic adventures, alongside the Sports Day and Agents of Creation activities, complete the trifecta of community engagement at FIS. Designed to cater to different age groups and interests, the planned adventures offer a delightful array of options. Our younger students will revel in picnics held at charming local spots such as playgrounds, Walderlebniszentrum, and Schlossgarten, providing an enjoyable environment for them to connect with nature and their peers.

For students in Grade 5 and above, the picnic adventures venture beyond the immediate vicinity of FIS. Some exciting ideas include a scenic cycle tour through the local forest, a visit to BlockHelden for an adrenaline-pumping adventure, a canoe tour on the River Wiesent, and trips to the picturesque Fränkische Schweiz.

Remember to pack essentials such as water, sunscreen, and a hat to keep your child comfortable and protected. Most importantly, encourage them to bring along an open mind, ready to embrace the joys and surprises that await them. Community Days are an opportunity to engage with peers in your grade level cluster, fostering friendships and learning new skills.
