Breaking the Ice with a Twist of Speed Networking

Secondary

As the new school year kicks off, G12 students at FIS are diving into a unique and fun way to get to know their peers. This year, the traditional ‘getting to know you’ activities have received a refreshing twist with a game inspired by the concept of speed networking.

Imagine G12 students sitting in small groups or pairs all around the playground across the FIS 2 building, with animated chatter and smiles on their faces. Instead of mundane introductions, they’re confronted with thought-provoking questions that delve into their dreams, passions, and hypothetical scenarios. Perhaps one of the most intriguing questions was, “If you were to live to the age of 90 and retain either the mind or body of a 30-year-old for the last 60 years of your life, which would it be?” Students’ responses were as diverse as their personalities.

The tone has been set for a year filled with respect, caring, and a sense of belonging. All the Best to our G12 students!
