The After School Activities (offered to Grade 1 to 12) for the fall season, starting on Monday, September 24 and ending on December 14, is now available on the ‘After School Activity’ page.
In order to expand the range of activities offered by teachers and give students a wider choice, external teachers are also offering multiple activities which are invoiced by the FIS at the end of each season. There are a few new activities in the program for this coming season:
- Forest Exploration for Grade 2 and 3
- Crochet, Science club and Modern Jazz for Grade 4 and 5
- Live Action Role Play (LARP), Breakdance and Yoga for Middle School Students, Touch Rugby for Middle and High School students
- WenDo Self-Defense for girls
- The Bluegreen environmental Club for High School students
Students who sign up to participate in the After School Activity Program (ASAP) are committed to the activity for the specific day of the week and for the full period of the course. Cancellations are only accepted during the first two weeks of the course. There is no bus transportation provided after the After School Activities so parents are responsible for ensuring their child(ren) participating in the ASAP are picked up from school on those days.
Registration can be made through the Parent Portal under ‘Booking Activites’ from Monday, September 10, at 17:00 until Friday, September 14 at 12:00. All new families should have received an email informing them of their Parent Portal login details in order to enter the portal. Please contact or if you are having problems accessing the portal.
Please be aware that some activities offer a limited number of placements and might be quickly booked out! Some activities might be canceled if the number of participants is not sufficient. A final confirmation will be sent per email on Thursday, September 22.
